We are Indigo class!
We are taught by Miss Field, Mr. Charles and Mr. Stockhill. Our teaching assistants are Mrs. Marcus, Mrs. Robson, Mr. Dodd, Miss Fitzgerald, Miss Smith and Mrs. Burton.
Throughout the course of the year, we are encouraged to develop our responsibility and become confident independent learners, by undertaking roles and responsibilities in the classroom and around the school.
We enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum with a wide range of creative activities. Our topics are;

What do Year 5 children need and when?
PE lessons take place on Monday and Wednesday. Please ensure your child comes to school in their PE kit on Tuesdays and brings their swimming kit to school on Wednesdays. Jewellery must not be worn.
Children are allowed to borrow library books for two weeks. Please make sure your child returns their book on time so that it can be renewed or exchanged.
Class reading books should be taken home and returned to school on a daily basis so that children can practice their reading both at school and at home.
Reading Logs can be written in by children and adults. Reading is considered to be the most important factor in your child's future success.
