Pupil Premium
Our Pupil Premium strategy will be reviewed on an annual basis.
The Pupil Premium is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible underachievement. There are three categories of children that qualify for pupil premium:
- Children who are eligible for free school meals (FSM)
- Looked after children
- Armed forces children
All schools are required to report on the amount of funding received and how this is being used.
A mid term review of this Pupil Premium strategy will take place in March each year in order that any necessary changes can be implemented, taking into account the school budget. A final review will take place in July each year once results have been received.
